Welcome y’all!
We are gathering all of you to join in on The Battle for Texas, any city in Texas can send 2 teams of 3 players of their choice to compete in order to prove who truly IS the strongest city in Texas.

Rules

  • Be from Texas (IDs will be checked!)
  • First come, first serve
  • ON-SITE REGISTRATION ONLY
  • Max 2 teams of 3 from each major city and 1 team of 3 from each smaller city
  • The event is capped at 16 teams
  • Must have a competitor badge to participate
  • Everyone on the team must be from the same city
  • $30 dollar buy in per team, WINNERS TAKE ALL
  • Single elimination
  • Single game
  • We will try to steam every match if time allows it, however, we reserve the right to run matches off-stream, top 4 is guaranteed to be on stream
  • Character lock: Each player must decide on a character to use for the entire tournament
  • We will create a channel within the Texas Showdown discord for those who are looking for teammates
  • No inappropriate or offensive team names
