  • Red Bull Welcome Party

    While the Texas Showdown crew sets up the event, Red Bull will be hosting a Welcome Party at Post Oak Ice House! There will be 10-15 console setups featuring Street Fighter 6, TEKKEN 8 and GranBlue Versus Fantasy Rising, a live DJ playing your favorite music (popular, anime and FGC related), and Red Bull themed cocktails.

    There will be shuttle service, courtesy of the Royal Sonesta, from 8-9pm to help take hotel guests from the hotel to the Post Oak Ice House - feel free to tip the driver! 21 and up.

Friday, April 26

  • BrolyLegs' Commemorative Ultra Street Fighter 4 Tournament

    On what would be Mike "BrolyLegs" Begum's birthday, we will hold a special Ultra Street Fighter IV tournament in his name to help celebrate and recognize the impact that he made on Texas Showdown and the rest of the FGC.

  • Battle of Texas: Granblue Versus Rising

    Battle of Texas - GBVR exhibition. Battle of Texas is a 3v3 single elimination tournament featuring 3-person teams competing to be the best team in Texas.

  • Karaoke!

    Held in the Community room, sing out loud to your heart's content with your favorite songs!

  • Battle of Texas: Tekken 8

    Battle of Texas - TK8 exhibition. Battle of Texas is a 3v3 single elimination tournament featuring 3-person teams competing to be the best team in Texas.

    A first for Texas Showdown, we will hold a series of single elimination, 32 man pop-up tournaments for Street Fighter 6, TEKKEN 8, and GranBlue Fantasy Versus: Rising. Registration is free to all, first come, first serve. Winner earns a giveaway from the TXS staff! Prize TBD.
