Event Calendar and Parking
When can I check in for Texas Showdown?
- Thursday, April 25 (Early Badge Pickup): 7PM - 11PM
- Friday, April 26: 10AM - 9PM
- Saturday, April 27: 9AM - 8PM
- Sunday, April 28: 10AM - 4PM
What are the parking options at Texas Showdown?
- $15 per day if you are staying at the hotel, if booked using the Texas Showdown event code. It is tied with your hotel reservation.
- $30 per day without the event code or you are not a guest

Attendance Policy
What is Texas Showdown's badge policy?
As always, we will have an event badge for Competitors and Spectators for Texas Showdown 2025. Keep in mind, you must have your event badge on your person to enter designated event spaces.
What if I lose or damage my badge?
There will be a $25 fee to replace your lost badge. Custom badges cannot be replaced.
Checking In and Registration
Can I pick up my badge on Saturday if I am not playing until then?
Yes.
Are spectator passes being sold on site?
They will be sold for $70 onsite, and $30 for children from 10-15 yrs of age. Children under 10 are allowed into Texas Showdown for free, but they must be accommpanied with a parent at all times. Spectator badges are good for the entire weekend.

How long is the venue open each day?

Thursday, April 25
- 7pm: Registration and badge pickup
- Event spaces are not available for the public on Thursday.

- 9am: Checkin and registration begins
- 11am: Doors open
- 12pm: Tournament play begins
- 12am: Main event spaces close
- 2am: BYOC area closes

- 9am: Doors open, Checkin and registration resumes
- 10am: Tournament play begins
- 12am: Main event spaces close
- 2am: BYOC area closes

Sunday, April 28
- 10am: Doors open
- 11am: Top 8 Finals begin
- 3pm: BYOC area closes
- 8pm: Event Ends
What is BYOC?
BYOC stands for Bring Your Own Console. We will provide an area where people can bring their own consoles and systems and play casuals or even throw side events for fighting games that we do not host. Keep in mind that we are not responsible for any equipment in the BYOC area.
Do I need to bring my own controller to the event?
YES, you do. Please refer to the Hardware List to figure out what controller(s) you need for each game that you register for.

I'm hungry - where can I go eat?
Here's a map to many restaurants that are fairly close to the venue.
Am I able to bring alcohol in the event spaces?
You may bring alcohol purchased at the various cash bars around the venue into each of the event spaces.
Will there be merchandise for sale at Texas Showdown?
Yes, we will have a variety of merchandise for sale at a booth that is located near the registration area. In addition, there will be various vendors that will be selling a variety of items.
