2022 was the first Texas Showdown during the COVID-19 pandemic - it brought a unique set of challenges to the team. Originally planned in 2020, we implemented a rollover process that stated that anyone who registered in 2020 can automatically be moved over to Texas Showdown 2022, which caused a few headaches. Adding implementing mask and vaccine rules, a general hesitation by the FGC to travel, in addition to the team being a bit rusty, proved to be one of our most challenging but successful years yet.
